All you need is a few simple keys
you've been missing.
Confusion: You might have built an incredible career, but you've never built a book. You don't yet know what it takes. Confusion about the process stops way too many authors from writing their book.
Delay: It’s difficult to judge how long it takes to write a book. More than likely, you have totally underestimated the time commitment you need to make.
Perfection is both medicine and poison. You probably have high standards, but if you’re in a creative process—especially one that you’ve never been through before—perfection is the killer of progress.
Disconnection: New authors don't know how to seek out community so they get the support they need. They don’t even know where to begin to find a community like that.

I’ve enjoyed the entire experience. Listening to each one of the cohort members has enriched and enhanced my life and what I’m writing, as well as how I’m writing it. Listening to everyone’s challenges and successes has been joyful. Since writing can be so isolating, it’s been nice to have a writer community to reflect with and bounce ideas off of.
My goal was to figure out what to do with what I had written already, so the fact that Sara was able to help me organize all of that writing and move forward with it has been profound. I thought it would take me three months just to organize all of it, but it only took a few weeks. Working through resistance and learning how to write on demand in addition to writing from inspiration has expanded my thinking and my writing abilities. This system has been profoundly helpful.

Before working with Sara in her writing program, I was stuck. Writing a book is hard and I didn’t know where to begin. I knew I needed to “just write” but I was hung up on book structure and needed help developing my idea. The program created the accountability I needed to write without worrying about the other stuff and as I wrote, the structure become clearer which motivated me to write more.
Being able to talk about the purpose of the book and what I want to do with it has been so helpful and so much has come from those discussions. I was able to figure out how to use my existing content, which was a big relief, and I finished my book before the end of the year.
I’ve learned so much from listening and seeing how everyone else goes through this process, from the questions we ask and the conversations we have. Because of everything I’ve learned, I feel like I’m putting together a very good book.
I’ve gotten so much out of this experience. I have no doubt that if I hadn’t been in this cohort, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

“This program is what I needed to move past the intention and actually get things done. The insight I have gained goes far beyond what I had hoped for when I signed up. Sara is not only a great editor but a great facilitator.”

The 3-month program has been fantastic. Before working with Sara in her writing program, I was stuck. Writing a book is hard and I didn’t know where to begin. The program created the accountability I needed to write without worrying about the other stuff and as I wrote, the structure become clearer which motivated me to write more.
By the end of this program, I felt much clearer about the book and its structure. Being able to talk about the purpose of the book and what I want to do with it has been so helpful and so much has come from those discussions. I was able to figure out how to use my existing content, which was a big relief, and I finished my book before the end of the year.
